This one-year senior program is for students interested in pursuing careers in a broad range of law enforcement/criminal justice disciplines. The curriculum includes training in criminal law, laws of arrest, first aid, loss prevention, defensive tactics, report writing, accident investigation, white collar crime, insurance fraud, search and seizure, and forensic science. Equipment used includes batons, handcuffs, uniforms, word processor, communications equipment, crime scene processing equipment, and criminal justice computer programs and software. CAREER PATHS available to students include police officers, parole officers, private investigators, corrections officers, security/loss prevention officers, highway patrol troopers, bailiffs, and a variety of careers within federal, state, and local law enforcement. Students are required to join Skills USA, a student leadership organization.
