CHEERLEADING COACH

Claudene McCoy (left)- Ms. McCoy has been teaching in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools since 1998. Ms. McCoy teaches technical education (computer) classes at Roxboro. In addition, she teaches Organizational Skills classes to 6th graders and Life Skills classes to 7th and 8th graders.

Ms. McCoy founded the Roxboro cheerleading program with the prodding of a former student, DeAngela McLaurin. Miss McLaurin is remembered (see below) as the driving force behind the team and the recipient of the cheerleading award receives the De'Angela McLaurin Award which is named in her honor.
