INTRAMURALS
(Mrs.
Jordan's babies)
Intramurals is one of the most popular extra-curricular activities at Roxboro Middle School. The Intramurals Program is an after-school program for 6th graders that exposes them to various sports and helps to develop social skills.
Academics remain the primary focus, therefore students must remain eligible. Students who receive grade marks of "F" or attitude marks of "3" during an eligibility period (each two weeks) will not be permitted to attend intramurals until the following eligibility period.
Intramurals will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from September until March. If a student has a detention or is staying with a teacher for after school help, he/she will need to check in with the intramural teachers first and then report to the after school assignment. Two unexcused absences will result in termination from the program. In the case of a cancellation, students will be notified in a timely manner.
Intramurals begin promptly at 3:30 and end at 4:20 pm. No teacher supervision will be available after 4:25 pm. Please make arrangements for pick up prior to the program. Telephones are not available during the program hours.
