If you answered "Yes" to any of the above, then Rocket Writes is for you. Rocket Writes is the official student newspaper of Roxboro Middle School. Students who participate can be involved in all aspects of putting together a newspaper. Students write and edit the stories, take the pictures, and are even responsible for the layout of the paper.
The group meets on various days after-school from 3:30 to 4:15 in Mrs. Radke-Litten's room 110. Middle school students are all involved in a multitude of sports and other extra curricular activities, so we are fairly flexible with scheduling conflicts. The staff and advisors at Roxboro work hard to avoid schedule conflicts. Be sure to come and check out the newspaper this year! If you are interested in participating, stop and see Mrs. Radke-Litten in room 110 for details!
