Dear
Orchestra Parents:
Our
Orchestra is made up of students from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, and meet at
three different times during the school day. In order for us to prepare for our
concerts it is necessary for us to meet all at once for several rehearsals.
Because of after school activities, it is necessary for us to meet on THURSDAY MORNINGS at 7:15 a.m.
We
will hold morning rehearsals, with
the first one starting on Thursday,
November 2nd followed by
November 9th, 16th,
& 30th The other rehearsals will be on December 7th, 9th and
December 14th. Our Concert is Thursday, December 21st at 7:30 p.m.
All
orchestra students are expected to attend all rehearsals unless they are ill
for the day. Rehearsal attendance is part of the student’s grade.
The
dress for the concert will be a solid white shirt or blouse and black/navy blue
slacks or skirt with dark shoes.
