5:30 AM                   Arrive at Roxboro Middle School for departure

 

5:45 AM                   Departure from Roxboro Middle School

 

5:45 - 1:00 PM         Drive to Gettysburg, PA

*lunch in transit on own (brown bag)

 

1:00 - 3:45 PM         Gettysburg National Battlefield Park (with educational guides)

 

3:45 - 5:45 PM         Drive to Washington, DC (local guides to be met at Air & Space Museum)

 

6:00 - 7:00 PM         Dinner at Union Station food court

$5 given to each traveler

 

7:00 - 8:30 PM         Evening illuminations tour (including stops) of the Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam,

and the Korean Memorials (with educational guides)

 

10:00 PM                                 Hotel check-in

5:30 AM                   Group wake-up call

 

6:30 AM                   Breakfast at hotel

 

7:30 AM                   Depart hotel

 

9:00 - 10:30 AM       White House visitor center and picture stop (with educational guides)

 

11:00-1:00  PM        Pentagon (with educational guides)

 

1:15-2:00 PM           Lunch at Hains Point

2:00-3:30 PM           Arlington National Cemetery / Tomb of the Unknown Soldier / Custis House (self-guided)

(with educational guides)

 

3:45 - 4:45 PM         National Archives (with educational guide)

 

5:00 - 5:45 PM         World War II Memorial (with educational guides)

 

6:15 - 7:30 PM         Dinner at Pentagon City Mall

*dinner vouchers provided for each traveler

 

9:00 PM                   Return to hotel

 

9:00 - 10:30 PM       Pool activities available
