Gifted Education at Cleveland Heights High School
“ Without these programs, a potential for personal or professional
failure exists.”
Cleveland Heights High School’s goal is to implement
a world class gifted program that meets the unique social, emotional, and
intellectual
needs of gifted and talented students through a collaboration of students,
teaches, parents, and the community, ensuring that opportunities for personal
growth and development for lifelong success are available.
We will offer:
An environment that fosters relationships between students
and adults/ community members in order to facilitate the production of
advanced products.
Activities and AP classes that promote higher level thinking
skills to foster creative results that demonstrate the student’s
understanding of advanced content.
Processes that offer gifted students opportunities to conceptualize
and see relationships at the level of their abilities, allowing
them to become
independent, creative, and autonomous learners.
A differentiated curriculum designed to meet the needs of
students who demonstrate exceptional academic ability, achievement,
and creativity and
who require additional enrichment, acceleration, and in-depth study.
